Rajini's Robo Bigger and more expensive: Posted on February 3, 2008
After the big success of the film Sivaji the boss, superstar Rajinikanth is now set for his next film Robo with Shanakar again. This movie is going to be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Sources say that Robo will be bigger and more expensive than Sivaji, which was made at a cost of close to Rs 80 crore and earned nearly Rs 100 crore. Shah Rukh Khan was to act in this film, but now it has come to the hands of Rajinikanth, so let us wait for another blockbuster this year.
Leading cast and crew including Aishwarya Rai, Music by great A.R. Rahman. The total budget for the movie is estimated as Rupees 130 crores and attained the name as the movie with highest budget in Indian history.
Title Robo may change as Iyandira: - Posted on February 3, 2008
Rajinikanth next movie titled Robot will be changed due to the course of tax concession given my Tamil Nadu government. The government will tax anyone who is making films with English names.
Remember he has written a story titled En Iniya Iyandira. Rumours also say that "Robo will be the ideal name for the movie, with the amount of money Shankar is pumping in... so Shankar wont be bothered about paying some extra tax..
